What biggest or most unique hiring challenges are you facing starting 2025? If anything, what solutions are you implementing or thinking through?

Leslie Moody mentioned the below, which inspired me to ask this question:

The biggest issues I encounter are more basic: ghosting and jobseekers half-heartedly completing applications. It happens from entry-level to the C-suite: employees apply and even interview, then go dark. As recruiters and companies, we've created the problem and set the expectations for communication by failing to follow up with job seekers. They're only hearing back from a small number of applications they submit and, therefore, put minimal effort into applications.
